Hours of Operation:

Mondays & Tuesdays @ 6pm til 9pm
Devotions- 8:30pm-Close

Come anytime and stay as long as you wish! Spend your free time hanging with friends at the Portal!

Portal is open to all teens ages 13-18. Registration is free and required for any teen wishing to return after their first visit.
NOTE: Students may opt out of devotions by signing out at 8:30pm. Students who wish to stay will be offered Portal Credits as an incentive for participation.

How we operate:

Portal 2:20 Teen Center isn’t a youth group, club or lock-in program. Teens are free to come and go during open hours. Each person is required to sign in when they arrive and sign out when they leave. Teens are allowed ONE sign-in/out per day.

Note to parents & guardians:
By law, we cannot require any teen to stay at the center, and once they’ve signed out, we’re no longer responsible for where they go. We ask that teens are not dropped off before we open, since staff and volunteers aren’t available to supervise.   Parents can check sign-in/out records anytime, and we encourage everyone to be familiar with and abide by our rules and expectations, which are posted throughout the center.  Also, be sure your teen has transportation home before our scheduled closing time.  Portal 2:20 Teen Center volunteers can not be responsible for your child's transportation at any time.

Note: The doors at the Portal 2:20 Teen Center remain locked at all times for safety and security. We do not let students or visitors in before our scheduled time to open.

If you have any questions about our policies or practices, please feel free to contact us.

Registration is free and paperwork is available upon check-in at the welcome desk in the front lobby. Registering your teen gives them free access to all Portal activities including special events and the ability to earn Portal Credits. First-time visitors can participate without registration, however they will be unable to earn Portal Credits during their visit.
You can also download and print our registration paperwork from home by clicking the button below.

Students can bring a registration folder home after their first visit, but we recommend downloading the Parent Packet and completing the Registration Form ahead of time.
* (Students who have previously attended but forgot their signed parent forms WILL BE SENT HOME. We reinforce personal responsibility at our center, and a signed permission form is a basic REQUIREMENT for any student to participate at our center.)

Rules and expectations for Participation:

Picture
Personal responsibility is a big part of growing up and also the foundation for the rules and expectations we put into place at the Portal.  Click on the poster to read the full-size image of our facility rules and expectations.  Reach out if you have any questions or need clarification.

We expect every teen to read, agree to and follow these rules while visiting the Portal 2:20 Teen Center. Any student suspected of violating these rules will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include verbal warnings, calls to parents, calls to authorities and/or permanent expulsion from the center.

Visitor Policy:

We absolutely welcome parents and members of the community to visit our center, but please be advised that adults and children under the age of 13 are NOT permitted to play games or participate in activities while visiting. Adults who wish to participate with teens in activities and events at the Portal 2:20 Teen Center may fill out a volunteer application located in the front office.

Upon arrival, adults must sign in on the visitors form located at the front office and wait for a staff member to escort you into the facility. We welcome any questions you may have, and love to share what our center is about! (However please understand that event nights may be very busy, so staff may not be available for an unscheduled tour on that evening. It is always best to plan your visit with us ahead of time to be sure we can accommodate you!) All visitors must sign out when they leave.
