COVID-19 UPDATES AND GUIDELINES
Parents, please be sure we have your students registration on file and that info is up to date including phone numbers. New students have 30 days from first attendance to return completed registration paperwork. If student does NOT have completed registration on file after 30 days, they will not be allowed to attend until completed registration paperwork has been received. Please do NOT drop off your student and leave before making sure they are able to attend.
COVID-19 Capacity and Social Distancing Guidelines:
What are the temporary Facility changes?
-Temperature checks taken before signing in.
-Required facial coverings for all staff & teens.
-Staff (Not students) will sign in/out individuals.
-Maintain social distancing of 6 feet for indoor seating.
-Sanitize high-touch areas frequently throughout the night.
-No outside food or drinks. No sharing of food/drinks.
-Personal belongings should be kept to a minimum. Students may not bring gaming devices or other items to "play" with others. Personal use items are permissible.
-Limit groupings of students in any particular area.
-Certain activities restricted/ closed off until normal resumes.
-No sharing of personal items (hair ties, ear buds, etc.)
Volunteer Guidelines:
-If you are feeling sick, or showing any symptoms of COVID-19 (Fever, fatigue, dry cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing), do not come to the Portal. Please contact the director as soon as possible to make other volunteer arrangements.
-All staff will have a wellness check upon entry to the Portal and will be required to wash hands, so be sure to arrive early to avoid opening delays.
-Staff is required to wear facial coverings while serving at the Portal.
Student Guidelines:
-Perform a temperature and wellness check upon entry (Have you been sick/ shown signs of sickness in the last 24 hours- symptoms of COVID-19)
-Inform Students of new COVID guidelines and rules for the Portal.
-Staff member is required to sign-in/out students only.
-Masks are required at all times for all students. Reusable cloth masks will be available at the front counter for $5.
-Student must then wash hands before entering the facility.
*It is expected and encouraged that all volunteers uphold the mission and values of Portal 2:20 Teen Center both in the facility we serve and in the community.
